A St. Clair High School student was taken into custody on Thanksgiving after allegedly making a threat of violence at the school. The St. Clair County Sheriffs Department says the 16-year-old from China Township made the threat on social media, posting a picture of himself holding what looked like an airsoft gun with the caption “don’t go to school on Monday.” The arrest was made after a tip was made on the OK-2-Say school safety website. The boy was taken into custody and transported to the  Macomb County Juvenile Detention Center.
