Michigan gas prices are up about a dime this week, with AAA reporting a statewide average daily gas price of about $3 per gallon. The auto club says that’s about 11 cents more than last week and 52 cents more than this same time last year. The highest prices can be found in Ann Arbor where it’s about $3.04 a gallon, while the cheapest gas is in Traverse City where pumps are asking $2.95 a gallon. Michigan is ranked as having the 13th most expensive gas in the nation this week, as well as biggest change in gas prices of all 50 states. Across the local area, pumps in Lapeer are asking about $2.95 a gallon, while gas is $3.05 in Sandusky and about $2.98 in the Port Huron area.
