Police investigating suspicious activity involving Marysville Student

Marysville police and law enforcement officials are offering up a warning to parents about a suspicious person who approached a Marysville High School student. Superintendent of Schools Shawn Wightman issued a warning to parents yesterday after reports of a man trying to coax a female student into his vehicle. It happened near New Hampshire and 16th Streets in the City of Marysville. The suspect is described as a white man, about 50 years old, with gray hair, blue eyes, and a medium build. The suspect was driving a four door tan sedan with a dent and duct tape on the front. Anybody with information regarding the event is urged to contact the Marysville Police at 364-6300.
