The Detroit Tigers were shutout for the tenth time this season, falling 2-0 in Chicago on Tuesday night. The Tigers best chance to score came in the seveth, when they loaded the bases with one out, but JaCoby Jones and Cameron Maybin both struck out to end the threat. The Tigers missed a chance to gain on first place Cleveland, and fell a game behind Baltimore in the wild card race with the loss. The final game of a three game series in Chicago is set for Wednesday afternoon.
