Four Blue Water Area teams advanced in the state football playoffs on Friday night. Richmond held off a late rally from Notre Dame Prep to win 17-15. The Blue Devils will get another home game next week in the regional, facing Flint Powers. Algonac blanked Almont 13-0 to also advance to the regionals. The Muskrats will travel to River Rouge next week. Sandusky defeated Cass City 7-0 to move on. The Red Skins play at New Lothrop next week in regional action. In the 8-man playoffs, Deckerville crushed Morrice 40-20 to advance to the semi-finals, were they will play next week at Battle Creek St. Philip.
