Up to four stories and 60 housing units could be coming to the intersection of Erie and Lincoln Streets near McLaren Port Huron Hospital. The Port Huron Planning Commission tonight could approve a request by Community Housing Network to rezone a total of ten parcels from multi family residential to hi-rise multi family residential. If approved tonight, construction could begin in the summer of next year. About 15 units are said to be affordable housing units and plans also call for the rehabilitation of a vacant commercial building in the 1000 block of Erie. The Port Huron planning commission meets at 6pm tonight at the Municipal Office Center.
