The new week kicks off with a few new road construction projects, including several bridge closures. In Wales Township, Cove Road between Masters and Green is closed for a bridge replacement until Thursday. Another bridge project starts tomorrow on Speaker Road in Lynn Township between Mason Road and Kelly over the Mill Creek. That work is expected to be wrapped up Friday.
Drivers heading between St. Clair and Marine City could encounter even more headaches this week. Starting Monday, Wadhams Road between Puttygut and Indian Trail in China Township will be closed for cross-road drainage replacement. The work is scheduled to be wrapped up sometime tomorrow but with the bridge on King Road between Belle River Road and Recor still closed until December, the main alternate route might only be M-29 through East China Township.
