After weeks of fuel costs steadily increasing, we’re starting to see a little relief at the pump in the Blue Water Area. The average price per gallon for regular unleaded this morning has settled right around $3.46 in St. Clair County, down nine cents from this time last week but three cents above the state’s current average at $3.49. While fuel demand is still on the rise, the cost of energy stocks have declined this past week, allowing us a little break at the pump. Around the rest of Michigan, Ann Arbor has the state’s most expensive gas right now at $3.56, and Grand Rapids coming in with the lowest price per gallon with $3.41 for the average.
