Downtown Development Authority director resigns

Port Huron is without a Downtown Development Authority director. According to Port Huron City Manager James Freed, Natalie Watson submitted her resignation this week. No further details were provided. The Downtown Development Authority organizes the annual Chilly Fest which will take place the weekend of January 24th and 25th. “We’re in the process of making sure that the McMorran staff has everything they need to ensure Chilly Fest is done properly,” Freed told WPHM.  He adds that the city will be looking to fill the DDA director position moving forward. Requests for comment from Natalie Watson have not been immediately returned.
