A bridge construction project near Lakeport will result in lane closures along M-25 starting Monday. The Michigan Department of Transportation will be performing nearly $200,000 in repairs to the M-25 bridge over Burtch Creek. One lane of traffic will be closed during the process and will be controlled by the use of a temporary traffic signal. The Burtch Creek bridge is located between Jeddo and Fisher Roads. The project involves repairing steel components of the bridge in order to help extend its lifespan. The Burtch Creek bridge project is expected to be completed by the end of January.
