Big Reds Win Late!

Caleb Collier picked up a fumble and raced 30 yards into the end zone for the winning touchdown with 26 seconds left in the 4th quarter on Friday night, as the Port Huron High Big Reds won a football district title at St. Clair Shores Lakeview 36-29.  The Big Reds got 110 yards and two touchdowns from Luke Vanderfyest, while Nijere Finney added 90 yards and score.  Port Huron High will advance to the regional next week at Birmingham Seaholm.  In other games on Friday, Almont beat Marine City 22-20 and will host Saginaw Swan Valley in a regional game next week, while in 8-man football Deckerville lost 50-24 to Morrice.
