Five arrested in three Port Huron area drug raids

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force is announcing the seizure of a combined $3300 worth of illegal drugs in three separate drug busts last week. On the afternoon of Tuesday October 1st, the drug task force raided a home in the 3300 block of Glenn Street in Port Huron Township. Approximately $1700 worth of methamphetamine, $300 worth of fentanyl and about $200 worth of cocaine was found in side. Two Port Huron men, ages 36 and 27 were arrested and will face a multitude of charges including possession with intent to deliver and felony firearm possession. DTF agents raided another home in Port Huron Township Wednesday afternoon. An undisclosed quantity of cocaine was found and a 56 year old man and a 46 year old woman, both from Port Huron, were taken into custody. They will face charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine. Thursday saw another drug task force in the local area. This time the DTF was called to a home on Briarwood Drive in Port Huron. More than $800 worth of methamphetamine was located and seized, along with $300 worth of fentanyl, cash, and drug paraphernalia. A 49 year old Port Huron man was taken into custody and is currently housed in the St. Clair County jail on a where he is facing multiple drug charges.
