One was injured after falling out of the window of a moving vehicle in rural Sanilac County over the weekend. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office, a 22 year old North Branch Man was hanging out of the passenger window of a Jeep around 7pm Saturday night. It happened on Juhl near Applegate Road in Elmer Township. Authorities say the individual wasn’t wearing a seat belt and alcohol is suspected to be a factor. The driver of the jeep was an 18 year old from Georgia, and stopped to pick up the injured North Branch Man. He was taken to an area hospital and later transferred to a Flint Hospital for further treatment of undisclosed injures. Investigations are ongoing.
