Weapon, crack seized in Port Huron drug bust

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force is announcing the arrest of a Port Huron man in connection to the sale of crack cocaine in the local area. According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s office, Drug Task Force members executed a search warrant for a home in the 900 block of Howard Street around 7pm this past Thursday. Authorities found about $1300 worth of crack cocaine along with an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle. 34 year old Kenneth Alford of Port Huron was arrested and is currently housed in the St. Clair County Jail where he is expected to face multiple drug related charges. Alford is being held on $25,000 dollars bond and is due back in court next month.
