The Larry Mann’s Holiday Hockey Tournament began on Friday with two lopsided games. Anchor Bay scored six first period goals and beat Marysville 9-1 in the opening game. Ryan Saad had three goals and two assists for the Tars, while Nicholas Basirico added two goals. Hunter Miller scored for the Vikings. In the second game Port Huron Northern scored six times in the first and cruised to a 10-0 win over Port Huron High. Logan OFlanagan scored three goals and Dominic Ruiz had two for the Huskies. Kyle O’Brien picked up the shutout. Marysville plays Port Huron at 1 PM on Saturday in the consolation game, while Northern takes on Anchor Bay in the championship game at 3 PM.
