Heroin and crack cocaine were seized by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force during a bust earlier this week. St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle on I-94 near Smiths Creek Road in Kimball Township just before 9pm Monday night. During the stop, officers located heroin and drug paraphernalia in the car. The driver was arrested and the vehicle was searched. Heroin and crack cocaine, with street values of $1200 and $600, respectively, were confiscated. A 44 year old Detroit man was arrested and was taken to the St. Clair County Jail. He faces charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, smuggling contraband into a jail and being a habitual offender.
