The Detroit Pistons named Dwane Casey as their next head coach on Monday. The 61 year old Casey will make almost $7 million a season over the next five years with Detroit. Casey was NBA Coach of the Year this past season after leading the Toronto Raptors to a team record 59 wins. He was fired by Toronto tough, after failing to win in the second round of the playoffs. Casey is a nine year veteran coach in the NBA with Minnesota and Toronto. He has won 373 games and led his teams to the playoffs the past five seasons.
