A Croswell area man who had a stand off with authorities last week is in custody. Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 26-year old man from Croswell assaulted his father Wednesday evening at the Buel Hill Trailer Park in Buel Township. Information was obtained by authorities which lead them to the suspect’s house. Authorities attempted to make an arrest on Thursday however the suspect was un-cooperative and would not leave his house. However, after a few hours, the 26-year old surrendered to deputies without incident. He is housed in the Sanilac County Jail facing arraignment on felonious assault charges.
