Crack seized in Port Huron bust

Over $7,000 of crack cocaine seized in a drug bust in Port Huron last week. The St. Clair County Drug Task Force says an investigation into narcotics in Port Huron resulted in arrests Wednesday evening. DTF officials say a traffic stop at Military Street and Center Avenue lead to the search of a residence in the 3200 block of Avondal Street in Port Huron.

Once inside, they located and seized approximately $7000 worth of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, pills, digital scales and packaging material. Two Port Huron men, ages 26 and 19 were in the residence and were arrested. The suspects are lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center, where they face charges including possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, maintaining a
drug house and frequenting a drug house.
