Port Huron police to receive $10,000 grant

The Port Huron Police Department receiving a $10,000 dollar grant to help bring Law Enforcement training to interested youth in the Blue Water area. The Port Huron Police will be offering its first every youth Police Academy this summer which will help young men and women learn about policing through the city’s Explorer and Cadet program. The 10-tousand dollar grant came from AT&T and the PHPD thanks the St. Clair County Community Foundation for their help in getting the grant. Members from AT&T and community foundation will present the check to Mayor Pauline Repp on Monday.
