Snow storm could dump 6 inches of snow Friday

A winter storm could drop as much as six inches of snow in the Port Huron area Thurday night and Friday. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch in effect from late tonight through Friday evening for St. Clair, Lapeer, Genesee, and Shiawassee counties.  Even more snowfall is possible in counties south of I-69 in Michigan, where up to 10 inches of snow could accumulate. Snowfall predictions for areas further north in the thumb only calling for 2-4 inches.
