For a second night in a row the Detroit Red Wings lost in extra time, this time 1-0 to the Rangers in New York on Sunday. Kevin Klein scored 1:59 into overtime for the games only goal. It is the first time this season Detroit has been shutout, but it is the fourth straight game without a win. The Wings return home Tuesday to face Columbus.
