The Marysville Friends of the Arts will be hosting their 6th annual Chili Cook Off this Saturday from 3-6pm at the Marysville Knights of Columbus on Ravenswood Road. Friend of the Arts John Pidick talked on the Paul Miller Morning Show about the Cook Off and how it sometimes puts family members against each other, with all members trying to make the best chili. There will also be wine sampling from the Green Barn winery. Tickets are $10 dollars and can be purchased at several businesses in Marysville or can be purchased at the door. With your ticket you can get as many helpings of chili as you want. Pidick says that with your ticket you also get cornbread, coffee and dessert. All proceeds from the cook off go to support the Gayle Pope Art Scholarship. For more information about the Chili Cook Off, go online to: marysvillefriends.org.
