The search for a new SC4 President

St. Clair County Community College has begun the process for selecting it’s next president. The Sc4 Board of Trustees met Thursday afternoon for a special meeting to accept Dr. Kevin Pollock’s resignation, and to discuss the next steps in the selection process. A three member Governance Committee of the Board of Trustees will bring their recommendations to the full board concerning the selection process soon. The Governance Committee will also help select interim management for the college, after Dr. Kevin Pollack’s last day as President on March 31st. Several faculty members including also addressed the board, asking for faculty input and an open selection process be used for selecting the next president. The Board of Trustees next regular meeting will be on February 11th, which could also see the selection of a new Trustee to fill a vacancy.
