The Michigan State Police and Michigan National Guard are doubling down on their efforts to get bottled water and water filters to people living in Flint. MSP Captain Chris Kelense told members of a Michigan House committee that 100 Guard members went door-to-door Wednesday and 100 more Guard members will be doing the same today. Kolenkse says the water resource teams have hit the majority of the homes in Flint to at least drop off a water filter. Over the next few days they’ll circle back to hit any houses where no one was home the first time they came by.
