Capac Armed Robbery Suspect Arraigned

According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the suspect in the Capac BP gas station robbery has been arraigned. 30 year-old Robert Johnson of Imlay City is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of felonious assault and being a habitual third offender. Johnson is accused of entering the gas station on Wednesday January 13th, at about 7:30pm, brandishing a gun a demanding money. He left the station after receiving an undetermined amount of cash and fled in a vehicle, which was found later on westbound I-69. Johnson later turned himself in to the Lapeer County Sheriff's Office and was later transported to the St. Clair County Jail. Bond has been set at $250,000. Johnson is due back in court on January 26th, at 9:00am for a probable cause hearing.
