The United Way looks for donations

Changes in times have meant some changes in service needs at some United Way funded agencies.  One of those is at the People's Clinic where Doctor Edward Fitzgerald says government health care allowances had meant a bit of a change. As for the United Way fund raising campaign this season, the group has amassed 75% of their goal in pledges or just over a million dollars. About $400 thousand more is sought with Executive Director Doug Dolph saying you can help out by simply taking a payroll deduction or by giving the office a call for a direct donation. Dolph notes the campaign slows down this time of the month but he is hopeful that the group can reach the goal which will benefit Saint Clair County in several program areas.
