It may not be winter yet, but the snow ordinances in Port Huron have already went into effect. The Port Huron Police Department is reminding residents that parking on paved city streets is prohibited between the hours of 2:30am-6:00am, to allow for snow removal. The ordinance, which began December 1st, lasts until March 31, 2016. Warning notices will be issued for the first 5 days, as a reminder to residents. After that violators will be issued a $10 citation.
