There will be a Community Thanksgiving Service, on November 24th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1331 7th street, in Port Huron. The event is hosted by the Blue Water Area Churches, which is a group of 50 or more churches in the area who work together to become one organization. The event will feature a night full of worship, reflection, and praise to God, in appreciation for his many blessings, protection and goodness. The service will feature special music, 2 worship segments, a litany of thanksgiving, and scripture readings. Also will include a special inspirational message by Pastor Jim Turner of Marysville Assembly of God. Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. and should end about an hour later.
