Two candidates have been selected to move on to the next step to determine who will be our next county commissioner. Harry "Duke" Dunn and Terry London both gave presentations to the board about who they were and their past experience. The commissioners heard first from Dunn who has served on the Marysville city council for the past twelve years. Terry London, the second candidate, also gave a presentation to the board. The former county commissioner previously served three terms on the board off and on, and spent time as a state lawmaker in Lansing. Both candiates have also previously served in the armed forces. Next Thursday, before the commissioners committee meeting, they will bring the candidates in for a formal interview process and after the meeting they will make their final decision. The county seat being filled represent the 4th district, which includes much of Port Huron Twp. and Marysville.
