The Port Huron Police Department conducted a sting operation on Monday focusing on underage sales of alcohol and tobacco in Port Huron. During the operation underage decoys were sent to 32 establishments attempting to buy alcohol, 28 of which were found to be compliant by not selling to the minors. However four establishments were cited for selling alcohol to the underage decoys. 31 businesses were also checked during the sting regarding the sale of tobacco to minors. Of those checked, five were cited for selling tobacco to a minor. The Police Department would like to thank all licensed establishments who were found to be in compliance.
