No. 7 Michigan State beat No.12 Michigan on a stunning final play in Ann Arbor Saturday 27-23. The Wolverines held a 23-21 led with ten seconds to play and where punting the ball back to State on fourth down, when the Wolverines punter mishandled the snap and the Spartans Jalen Watts-Jackson picked up the ball and retuned it 38 yards as time expired for the game winning score. Watts-Jackson suffered a broken hip in the post game celebration and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Michigan State remained undefeated at (7-0), while Michigan falls to (5-2) on the season.
