Ian Kinsler hit a two run home run in the bottom of the ninth to give the Detroit Tigers an 8-6 win over the Kansas City Royals on Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park. Kinsler finished with three RBI on the day. The Tigers took two out of three for the first place Royals, as Victor Martinez broke out of a slump bombing two home runs and driving in five runs for Detroit. The Tigers take on Boston tonight to open a three game weekend series.
