Port Huron Police are releasing more information about a shooting that occurred early this morning in the city’s north end.
Officers were called just after 6 a.m. to the Glenview Gardens Apartments. Police confirm a 17-year male has died while a 13-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were transported to a Detroit-area hospital, where they remain in critical but stable condition.
Police say the suspect is the 44-year-old father of the victims and was taken into custody without incident. The shooting happened inside a home and is being described as an isolated incident.
The investigation is being considered active and ongoing. Authorities emphasize there is no threat to the community.
