It’s a warning from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office about a rash of recent break in’s at an area storage facility. Sheriff’s deputies along with the Port Huron Police Department major crimes unit are investigating thefts from the Storage of America facility on Range Road in Kimball Township that occurred over the past six months. Authorities believe some customers at the storage facility may not be aware their units were among those broken into, and are encouraging customers to check on their units to ensure all of their items are there. Anyone who thinks they’ve been a victim and has not filed a police report yet is asked to do so by calling St. Clair County Central Dispatch at 985-8115.
