A portion of Wadhams Road in the southern part of the county will be the subject of resurfacing project starting Monday. The $610,000 project will take approximately two weeks to complete and will result in a full closure of Wadhams between Puttygut and Fred Moore Highway. According to the St. Clair County Road Commission, work will be performed by Ace Saginaw paving and includes crushing the existing surface, paving the roadway with new asphalt, and grading the shoulders. Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained within the construction zone, but drivers are encouraged to plan ahead for delays.
