Residents on both sides of the St. Clair River were concerned when a loud noise and smoke was witnessed coming from a docked freighter in Sarnia yesterday. It happened just before noon Tuesday when a fire broke out on a tanker vessel at the Imperial Oil dock. In a statement provided to WPHM from Imperial Oil, the fire was contained on the boat and was put out by the crew. All on board the vessel were accounted for, it is unknown at this time what caused the fire.
