There’s several new faces on the board of trustees for St. Clair County Community College. Monday night was the first meeting for trustees Kim Brown and Kristin Ryan who were elected in November to six and two year terms, respectively. Add to that one more trustee, Mukund Wankhede, who was selected to fill the vacancy left by Dr. Nicholas DeGrazia who resigned from the board in December. Wankhede of Fort Gratiot Township is an immigrant from India and a mechanical engineer. He also owns two local businesses with his wife. Wankhede’s term will expire at the end of 2024 and he says his is unsure currently whether or not he will seek election to a full year term.
