Expect to see much more traffic, especially truck traffic, heading through Downtown Port Huron this weekend. The Michigan Department of Transportation will be closing an overpass on I-94 just west of the Blue Water Bridge customs plaza for maintenance starting 6am Saturday Morning. That will mean all traffic entering the United States will be detoured around it. The posted detour be the I-69 and I-94 business loops, including Hancock Street, Pine Grove and Huron Avenues, and Military and Griswold Streets. The bridge maintenance is expected to be completed by 7am Monday.
