After a year on hiatus, the St. Clair County 4-H and Youth Fair returns this week to Goodells County Park. The carnival midway opens up Monday at 5pm, with monster trucks Tuesday, crazy car races Wednesday, and the ever popular demolition derby Saturday. The livestock auction at the fair will take place Thursday afternoon at the show arena. Rob Usakowski, president of the St. Clair County Agricultural Society, says the auction is a great way to support the youth of our area who have been working hard on raising their animals over the past several years. Cost to attend the fair is $9 per person for everyone over the age of eight. Usakowski says the best deal however is the carload price, with $25 buying admission for everyone in the vehicle. The fair runs though Saturday.
