All schools in the Port Huron Area School District will transition to fully remote learning starting Friday. District administration announced the change in plan Wednesday and subsequently canceled their special session meeting planned for Wednesday afternoon.  Grade 6 through 12 students have been learning remotely since March 22nd in the Port Huron Area School District. Pre-K through 5th grade students had continued to meet face to face. Starting Friday, all grade levels will go virtual through at least April 20th. Athletic teams and extracurricular groups can continue to meet, provided they are following all state and local testing protocols. The school board will meet next during a regular session meeting April 19th.
