Border agents arrest illegal immigrant with felony record

U.S. Border Patrol agents stationed in Marysville arrested a Mexican citizen over the past weekend who is believed to have entered the country illegally. Customs and Border Protection officers announced Tuesday that Jesus Trejo-Garcia was taken into custody Sunday in Romeo following an investigation. The suspect is accused of entering the United States illegally across the Mexican border. During processing at the Border Patrol station in Marysville, it was discovered that Trejo-Garcia is also a convicted sex offender and has been removed from the United States four times. He is currently in border patrol custody and could face federal prosecution.
