Gas prices in Michigan posted some declines over the past week. AAA says the statewide average has fallen approximately a nickel a gallon, to $2.22 for a gallon of regular unleaded. The auto club says despite low demand, pump prices are holding steady due to solid crude oil gains. The most expensive gas is in Marquette, Jackson and Lansing… while the least expensive gas is in Traverse City, Benton Harbor and Saginaw. Port Huron area pumps are slightly higher than the statewide average, asking approximately $2.24 for a gallon of regular gas.
