Wolverines Drop Opener

Michigan opened the college football season on Thursday night with a 24-17 loss at Utah.  Jake Rudock got the start at quarterback for the Wolverines and completed 27 of 43 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns, but he was intercepted three times, including a pick-six by Justin Thomas with 7:58 to play in the 4th quarter that turned out to be the deciding score in the game.  Michigan is home to Oregon State on September 12.
