The Detroit Tigers opened a three game series with Toronto on Friday night, beating the Jays 5-2 at Comerica Park. Nick Castellanos had three hits, including a home run, he had an RBI. Jacoby Jones added a triple and two RBI for the Tigers. Game two of the series is set for Saturday afternoon in Detroit.
