All schools in the Anchor Bay District will remain closed for a second straight day. This, after a tip was received yesterday morning on the “Okay to Say” website about a potential threat. On their Facebook page, the district says police were working throughout the night to complete the investigation. As part of that, the decision was made to keep all schools closed again today until what district officials call “extensive protocols” have been finalized. Michigan State Police are now handling the investigation.
