Michigan State Police and the Office of Highway Safety Planning are starting a new billboard and commercial campaign that is focused on cutting down on motorcycle crashes. The “Ride Sober” campaign comes at a time when motorcycle crashes peak. State Police say most accidents involving bikers happen in July, but also June through September. There were 140 fatal crashes last year. Investigators say one in three involves drinking and driving.
