Big plans for a historic hotel along the banks of the St. Clair River. Jeff Katofsky is the new owner of the St. Clair Inn and says work has begun both inside an out on remodeling the hotel in St. Clair. Katofsky says a new structure is also being built on the other side of M-29 in St. Clair, which will include retail space, a Starbucks Coffee Shop, gift shop, and private gym and spa for hotel guests. Katofsky says there have been a few setbacks, including the theft of equipment and winter weather, however he still anticipates an opening about this time next year.
