Before ever making a pick at the NHL draft on Friday night, the Red Wings swung a deal with the Arizona Coyotes.  Detroit unloaded the $7.5 million cap hit of Pavel Datsyuk’s contract to the Coyotes, so they could move up to the 16th pick and take Sarnia Sting defenseman Jakub Chychrun.  Detroit received the 20th and 53rd picks in the draft from Arizona and used them to take a pair of defenseman, Dennis Chowlowski and Filip Hronek.  The Wings also take on the $1.2 millon salary of forward Joe Vitale, who played just one game last season due to concussion issues.
