The election was just one week ago for a failed pair of bond proposals by the Port Huron Area School District and already the Board of Education has decided to ask the voters again for more money. The board met early Tuesday morning in a special session to decide to go back to voters. The session saw the original 153-million dollar proposal drop to 105 million chopping the actual millage asking by about half. The proposal for additional dollars to help improve schools this time around is a one question asking instead of two. It will appear on the August 2nd ballot.
